Advanced Salsa Move #13

July 29, 2011

The 1st two bars of this move require a constant flow, and for the leading hand to go as low as possible in the transition from in front of her to behind her back, both on the entry and the exit.

The last 2 bars are my favourite and I use this move all the time. the secret is to not let her travel too far away, so that when you overtake her and roll her off your back, it’s easy for her to change direction for the free spin. please note that unusual footwork I employ for this. This move was actually taught to me by Inaki (a brilliant salsa teacher from Spain and England) at a congress in Bali a few years ago.
