Advanced Salsa Move #2

I really enjoyed this class as it was one of the 1st times that I’ve got to teach with Katrina Quintal, who I feel has a very similar style to me.

This shine involved elements of very basic funk hip hop, along with some more traditional jazzy style salsa moves towards the end.

The turn pattern here is nice because it has an unexpected stop and direction change on a 3 (which if danced on2 becomes a hit on the 1) making it a potentially very musical move if you get the right part of the song. Also the lead for the last bar can be very smooth if done correctly.
